A long time ago, a once-thriving civilization inhabited the planet Mongs call home. Intellect and science were abundant, but as time wore on, the pillars of this society crumbled, and low-IQ degeneracy became the norm. In the present day, Mongs live among the ruins of their ancestors, doomed to a simple life of confusion and squalor. However, after stumbling upon an ancient biolab, a glimmer of hope emerged. Armed with samples of their ancestors' DNA and access to the lab, they make a hasty attempt to recreate intelligent beings. Surprisingly, the Mongs manage to successfully clone their ancestors. But perhaps they didn’t follow the instructions closely enough? Or maybe one too many drops of drool landed in the petri dish? The new members of their society seem to lack any trace of intellect whatsoever. Nothing an oversized dose of Roids can’t fix... right? Right?
