Visitors 101 Our most distant cousins have been visiting us for millennia. It is only in relatively recent history since the invention of the camera that their surprisingly friendly visitations have been documented on film. Previously humans relied on written accounts or artistic depictions, some of which we hope to show you should they be released to us soon. However this evidence, when it occasionally surfaces is quickly confiscated or ridiculed and labelled as a hoax, so amazingly these visits remain merely a myth until this day. In dusty boxes hidden in shady museums and secure facilities these pictures are mostly hidden away indefinitely until someone discovers them and is brave enough to leak them onto the internet and into public consciousness. Here is our first batch of pictorial documentation of these visitors throughout the ages. Visitor 050 - c1950s Valeria - Beyond Orion's Belt In a small English village in the 1950s, a pair of young siblings, Margaret and James, spent their summer days playing in their grandmother’s sprawling garden. It was a place of wonders, filled with hidden nooks, blooming roses, and an ancient oak tree that towered over everything like a watchful guardian. One particularly warm afternoon, as they played near the oak, they noticed something unusual—a shimmering light flickering behind the trunk. Curiosity got the better of them, and they tiptoed closer, hand in hand. To their amazement, a figure emerged from the light. She was unlike anything they had ever seen. She stood tall, with skin that shimmered in an aqua green hue, as if reflecting the colours of the sea. Her large, bulbous head held a vast, intricate brain, clearly visible beneath her textured skin. Her eyes, the colour of amber, sparkled with a wisdom that spanned eons. The most fascinating aspect of her appearance was her knotted dreadlocks, twisting and curling like tendrils of the universe itself, adorned with gold strands that caught the sunlight, making her seem almost otherworldly—yet not frightening, but rather comforting. "Hello, little ones," she spoke, her voice melodic, as if a thousand harmonious notes were woven into each word. "I am Valeria, from a dimension nestled between the stars of Orion's Belt. I was a dear friend of your grandmother, many, many years ago." The children were speechless at first, but their fear melted away in the warmth of her presence. Valeria knelt down to their level, her large eyes locking with theirs. "I’ve watched over your grandmother for years, and now, I’ve come to meet you too. Your grandmother has told me much about you both." "Are you… real?" Margaret finally whispered, her eyes wide with wonder. Valeria smiled, revealing pearly teeth that glowed softly. "As real as you are. Our worlds may be different, but they are connected in ways most cannot see. Your grandmother and I have shared many adventures in her youth, just as you and your brother share now." James, always the more inquisitive, asked, "Where do you come from?" "I come from a place where the stars sing and the skies are filled with colours you've never imagined," Valeria replied. "My world is beautiful, and it’s there that your grandmother will be coming with me soon, to live out her days in peace and joy. But don’t be sad," she quickly added, seeing the concern on their faces. "She will be happy there, and one day, when you’re all grown up, I’ll return to take you both on a journey through the stars. If you’re willing, of course." Margaret and James looked at each other, their young minds racing to comprehend all that they were hearing. But even in their confusion, they felt an unexplainable bond with this mysterious, yet kind being. "We’ll see you again?" James asked, hope glimmering in his eyes. "Yes," Valeria nodded, her dreadlocks swaying gently as if in agreement with her words. "When the time is right, we’ll explore the universe together. But for now, cherish these days with your grandmother. She has stories yet to tell, and they will prepare you for the wonders that await." With that, Valeria stood, the light around her intensifying until it enveloped her completely. In an instant, she was gone, leaving the children standing beneath the old oak tree, their hearts filled with a mixture of wonder and longing. From that day on, they never spoke of Valeria to anyone, not even to their grandmother. But they listened more intently to her tales, savouring each word, knowing that someday; they too would embark on their own adventure among the stars. And as they grew older, they often looked up at Orion’s Belt, silently wishing for the day when Valeria would return and take them on the journey of a lifetime.
